What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a 3000 year old therapy that is used to treat a variety of health concerns.

What type of effect or benefits does acupuncture have on the body?

According to Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture works to regulate the vital energy of the body. Balancing this energy helps the body return to or maintain a state of good health.

Western Medicine likens acupuncture’s positive effects to the stimulation of nerves, muscles and connective tissue. This stimulation is said to boast the activity of certain endorphins that effect brain and body chemistry, and can increase blood flow.
